In America, Independence Day is celebrated on the 4th of July. We should rejoice for the freedom that it brings and be thankfully for the soldiers who made that possible and continue to fight for our freedom and the freedom of others. We should also be thankful that with this freedom comes the freedom to worship, pray and exalt our living God. Not all places in the world allow this.
Our national freedom is precious, but our freedom in Christ is of infinite worth.(1)
So if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed (John 8:36).
Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1).
...Christ Jesus... who is at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us (Romans 8:34).
Therefore He is able also to save forever those who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them (Hebrew 7:25).
I can do all things through Him who strengthens me (Philippians 4:13).
Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts...(Colossians 3:15).
