Is The United States Pressuring Israel Helping or Hurting?

When it comes to the land of Israel and its borders, clearly Israel itself is its own worst enemy. Through its genuine desire for peace, it has given away land that God has promised to them. By not trusting God to provide solutions, Israel itself is showing a lack of faith. By giving in to the United States and even the worlds demands to give land away in return for peace, and to release murderous terrorist in return for peace, Israel is now in a process of chasing a peace that some of her enemies clearly do not want and will never last.

The majority of the worlds pressure comes from the United States. Because of foreign aid and the need for military cooperation, Israel feels that it must do almost whatever the United States asks of it. To say that Jews can only live in certain parts of Israel is like saying African Americans can only live in certain areas of the U.S. We all know this is wrong and would never fly here but yet Israel is expected by the U.S. to only build in areas that the U.S. agrees to and when that doesn't happen, Israel is condemned for building not only by the U.S. but by the world. Even in Israel's God given capitol of Jerusalem, the United States says building in certain areas is off limits.

Israel also has been pressured to release terrorist as a show of good faith toward the Palestinians, only to have some of the those same terrorist commit crimes both on U.S. soil (one of the pilots involved in 911) and Israel again. What country asks another country to continuously release the people that harm it the most from prison only so some of them can do it again? Over a thousand have been released, some convicted of heinous murder.

And of course there are ongoing terrorist attacks with rockets. Again the United States and rest of the world usually (but not always) calls for Israel to use restraint when responding to enemy rocket fire (sometimes coming from schools and mosques and apartment buildings that are being used as rocket launch sites), even though they have the ability to destroy the source. What other country would allow thousands of rockets to be launched at them, and not destroy the source it they were capable of doing so (and Israel is).

Some believe that there are some disasters that appear to be related to God's promise in Genesis 12:3 to bless those who bless Israel but curse those who slight Israel. The idea being that because the U.S. keeps pressuring Israel to give up the land that God says in the Bible is theirs, negative consequences have occurred here. We all know storms and natural disasters are all part of life but their seems to be in some cases "coincidental" timing at the exact time the U.S. is pressuring Israel. Weather true or not, anyone who believes God is in control, or sovereign, must therefore believe that God either causes or allows ALL things to happen...both good and bad.

The following list has been put together by Bill Koenig, listed in his book "Eye to Eye - Facing the Consequences of Dividing Israel" and updated again on his website

Areas of Consideration Include:

1-1-2009 To Present. These "weather and natural disaster "coincidences are ongoing.

Here is the link to stay updated. Look Under Eye to Eye area of page.

1-1-2008 through 12-31-2008

December, 2007 - U.S. Sponsored Israeli-Palestinian Meetings Coincided with Two Major Record U.S. Disasters:

Largest flood in Washington State's history followed by the largest ice storm and power outage in Oklahoma's history.

In 10 days, the United States experienced the largest flood in the state of Washington’s history, hurricane-force winds up to 127 mph in Oregon, I-5 between Seattle and Portland was closed for five days, and a massive ice storm hit America’s heartland — causing chaos, a travel gridlock and over 1 million homes and businesses to lose their power. Also, the largest ice storm in Oklahoma history produced the largest power outage in that state's history.

In 10 days, President Bush declared major FEMA disasters for Washington, Oregon, Oklahoma and Kansas — and is expected to do the same for Missouri, Iowa and Illinois.

These were two separate, back-to-back, $1 billion-plus disasters bringing the 2007 total to four billion-dollar disasters that coincided with U.S. pressure on Israel to divide her land.

September 24, 2005 Hurricane Rita:

A few weeks ago, Hurricane Rita developed during a very busy week of focused attention on Israel's covenant land and the peace process.

On Saturday, September 17, the U.S. State Department told Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon to not interfere with Gaza elections even if Hamas was involved.

On Tuesday, September 20, the Quartet (U.S., EU, U.N. and Russia) had a Road Map meeting in New York City; they congratulated Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon for his completion of the disengagement plan. They also called on the Israelis and the Palestinians to continue forward.

On Wednesday, September 21, President Bush praises Sharon at Republican Jewish Coalition's 20th Anniversary in Washington DC. Within a few hours of his speech, Hurricane Rita becomes a Category 5 hurricane, the third most intense storm in history

On Thursday, September 22, President Bush met with Jordan's King Abdullah to discuss the peace process in Israel.

On Sunday September 24, 2005 Hurricane Rita hits the United States.

Hurricane Rita caused more damage to oil rigs than any other storm in history and will force companies to delay drilling for oil in the U.S. and as far away as the Middle East, initial damage assessments show.

August 2005 - Eerie Similarities Between Katrina and the Evacuation of Gush Katif:

Jewish families were evicted from their homes in the Gaza communities as part of Ariel Sharon's "Disengagement" plan. This disengagement was a response to the American Foreign Policy pressure being exerted by Condoleezza Rice. As the world watched the Jews being removed from their homes, a weather system was forming in the Atlantic. This storm became Hurricane Katrina, which destroyed New Orleans, Louisiana (Miss Rice's home state) and an area the size of Britain, rendering thousands of Americans homeless and leaving thousands dead. Hurricane Katrina also spoiled the "Southern Decadence" weekend planned by the homosexual community for New Orleans and supported by the mayor of New Orleans. By September 7th, further parallels were becoming apparent. The Mayor of New Orleans, having been heavily criticized for ineffectiveness has ordered troops (local people) and police to evacuate all residents who refuse to leave. The police chief has expressed reservations about tackling defiant householders as it would be a "PR disaster."(1)

One week before Katrina made landfall, Israel carried out the evacuation of 9,500 residents from Gaza's Gush Katif slate of Jewish neighborhoods and four Samaria communities. Residents were forced from their homes by Israeli troops, some dragged away kicking and screaming and placed on buses that took them from the area. The majority of former Katif residents are homeless while the Israeli government struggles to find permanent housing solutions.

Similarities include:

911 Related: September 11th 2001

Terrorist pilot Mohammad Atta blew up a bus in Israel in 1986. The Israelis captured, tried and imprisoned him. As part of the Oslo agreement with the Palestinians in 1993, Israel had to agree to release so-called 'political prisoners.'

However, the Israelis would not release any with blood on their hands, The American President at the time, Bill Clinton, and his Secretary of State, Warren Christopher, 'insisted' that all prisoners be released.

Thus Mohammad Atta was freed and eventually thanked us by flying an airplane into Tower One of the World Trade Center .. This was reported. It was censored in the US from all later reports.

October 11, 1999

Jewish settlers in 15 "West Bank" ( Israel ) settlements are evicted from the covenant land in Israel. Dow Jones financial averages loses 5.7% in the worst week since October 1989. On October 15 the Dow lost 266 points. A hurricane slams into North Carolina. Next morning, October 16, a magnitude 7.1 earthquake rocks the Southwest in the fifth most powerful earthquake in the 20th century. The earthquake was centered in the California desert and did little damage but it was felt in three states.

May 3, 1999

The day Yasser Arafat is scheduled to declare a Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital the most powerful tornado storm system ever to hit the United States sweeps across Oklahoma and Kansas . Winds are clocked at 316mph, the fastest wind speed ever recorded. The declaration is postponed to December 1999 at the request of Clinton , whose letter to Arafat encourages him in his "aspirations for his own land." He also writes that the Palestinians have a right to "determine their own future on their own land" and that they deserve to "live free today, tomorrow and forever."

December 12, 1998

Clinton lands in the Palestinian-controlled section of Israel to discuss the "land for peace" process. The House of Representatives votes four articles of impeachment against Clinton.

November 30, 1998

Arafat comes to Washington again to meet with President Clinton to raise money for a Palestinian state with Jerusalem as the capital. A total of 42 other nations were represented in Washington. All agreed to give Arafat $3 billion in aid. Clinton promised $400 million and the European nations $1.7 billion. On the same day, the Dow Jones average drops 216 points, and on December 1, the European Market had its worst day in history. Hundreds of billions of market capitalization were wiped out in U.S. and Europe.

October 15-22, 1998

Arafat and Netanyahu meet at the Wye River Plantation in Maryland . The talks are scheduled to last five days with a focus on Israel giving up 13% of Judea and Samaria . The talks are extended and conclude on October 23rd. On October 17th awesome rains and tornados hit Southern Texas . The rain and flooding in Texas continue until October 22nd and then subside. The floods ravage 25% of Texas and leave over $1 billion in damage. On October 21, Clinton declares this section of Texas a major disaster area.

September 28, 1998

Secretary of State Albright works on the final details of an agreement in which Israel would give up 13% of Judea and Samaria. Hurricane George, with winds of 110mph gusting up to 175mph, slams into the United States Gulf Coast. Hurricane George stalls. Clinton meets with Arafat and Netanyahu at the White House to finalize this land deal. Later Arafat addresses the United Nations about declaring an independent Palestinian state by May 1999. Hurricane George pounds the Gulf Coast causing $1 billion in damage. At the exact time Arafat departs the country, the storm starts to dissipate.

January 21, 1998

Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu meets with President Clinton at the White House and is coldly received. Clinton and Secretary of State Madeline Albright refuse to have lunch with him. Shortly afterwards on that day, the Monica Lewinski scandal breaks into the mass media and begins to occupy a major portion of Clinton's time.

January 16, 1994

President Bill Clinton meets with Syria's President Hafez el-Assad in Geneva. They talk about a peace agreement with Israel that includes giving up the Golan Heights. Within 24 hours a powerful (6.9 on the Richter scale) earthquake rocks Southern California. The Northridge earthquake becomes the second most destructive natural disaster to hit the United States, behind Hurricane Andrew.

August 23, 1992

When the Madrid Conference moves to Washington D.C. and the Peace Talks resume, Hurricane Andrew, the worst natural disaster ever to hit America, comes ashore producing an estimated $30 billion in damage and leaving 108,000 homeless in Florida.

October 30, 1991

As President George Bush, Sr. is opening the Madrid Conference to consider "Land for Peace" in Israel's Middle East role, the "Perfect Storm" develops in the North Atlantic, creating the largest waves ever recorded in that region. The storm travels 1,000 miles from East to West (instead of the normal West to East pattern) and crashes into the New England coast. Thirty five foot waves crash into the Kennebunkport home of President Bush.

Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon agreed to the Gaza Strip withdrawal and it could not have taken place without his consent as Prime Minister. Shortly after the disengagement took place, Ariel Sharon suffered a stroke. He remained in a coma the rest of his life (8 years) dying on January 11, 2014.
